EC Charging Warranty & Validation Process

We are pleased to offer a 3-year warranty on EC Charging AC EV chargers, covering repair or replacement of defective goods, subject to the terms and conditions below and 2-year warranty on DC chargers.

The warranty period runs from the date of delivery, not the installation date.

Warranty Registration

To validate your warranty, you must register your product.

Failure to register or provide proof of purchase may affect your warranty entitlement.

What Is Covered?

EC Charging warrants that goods manufactured by EC Charging will be free from defects in design, materials, or workmanship.

If a defect is identified during the warranty period, EC Charging will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the defective product, or

  • Replace the defective product

This service will be provided free of charge within 3 years from the date of delivery, provided all warranty conditions have been met and 2 years for DC chargers.

Conditions of Warranty

To qualify for the EC Charging warranty, the following conditions must be met:

  • The EV charger has been installed and maintained correctly

  • Installation and electrical connection comply fully with EC Charging instructions and standards

  • The installation is compliant with relevant regulations and EC Charging requirements

  • Proof of purchase can be provided upon request

  • No unauthorised modification, repair, or alteration has been carried out

  • Only original EC Charging parts have been used

EC Charging reserves the right to inspect the product and installation when assessing any warranty claim.

What Is Not Covered?

The warranty does not apply to faults or defects arising from:

  • Improper or inadequate maintenance

  • Incorrect installation or non-compliance with installation instructions

  • Installations not meeting EC Charging standards

  • Theft, vandalism, misuse, inappropriate use, or lack of supervision

  • Use of non-original or non-approved parts

  • Damage caused by natural events such as fire, lightning, earthquakes, or similar events

Additional Information

  • The warranty applies only to the original buyer and is non-transferable

  • Repair or replacement under warranty does not extend or restart the warranty period

  • The warranty applies only to goods manufactured by EC Charging or partners.
